A little of this and that...

I've been busy working with new releases from DRS Designs and ArtfulINKables over the last couple of weeks and wanted to share two quick projects with you...I'll be back later with a card using the colors from today's color challenge over on SCS.

Here is my sheep card with new release images by DRS Designs...

I thought the red, black and kraft was a perfect country look for my new friends! I added some flock after cutting and adhering their bodies and heads with pop dots. The DRS grass image is very versatile...I sponged the rest of the grass and the sky. The background is stamped with the open image from the double cattail egg stamp and then I finished things off with pom pom tails and some ribbon and twine and one of my favorite tiny sentiments.

Next up is a project from the latest ArtfulINKables release...this is from the Think Big set...

I made a necklace from shrink plastic and attached it to a card with the same image for a cute presentation. This would make a great gift for any little girl who loves to read. After stamping and shrinking, I ran a silver paint pen around the edge of the oval and attached a jump ring and chain. This is a quick, easy and inexpensive gift - great for those last minute birthdays!

Thanks for checking in...I'll be back soon!!!

Cathy- your cards are so pretty...I agree, the lily corner image can be used on many cards, especially at Easter! Do you stamp your name on the back of the card or sign it....like, made by Cathy? I purchased a personalized stamp from http://www.polkadotposies.com/createdby.html
and I now stamp all my cards. I was just wondering if you do the same with a stamp or do you hand write something? I am trying to find out what others are doing regarding marking their design.
