So much to share!

second post for today...

and boy am I running late! DD has her first track meet of the season and it was COLD!!! We had flurries earlier in the day so it wasn't the best weather to be wearing a thin tank top and shorts!!! My fingers seem to have finally thawed and I now have some time to post the cards I made earlier today! In addition to the Color Throwdown challenge on Wed, I usually like to participate in the sketch challenge on SCS...here's a quick one I did before work today...

Images are by Digital Stamp Oasis...are you low on space or want instant gratification when purchasing images? Then digi stamping might be for you! All you do is purchase the images and then when the file is sent to you, you open it and print...you can print as many as want and in most cases you can even change the size of the image!

Here is Sammy Squirrel eating his strawberries!!

The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch and the felt flowers are from Target...last year sometime. The sentiment was printed from the computer as well.

Here is another one for the sketch that I made during the day today...

Images by DRS Designs...

The one and only image on this card is a brand new release by DRS and is available now. I think it looks awesome stamped in red craft and heat embossed with clear powder! I used two of my new border punches on this one! I also used the wavy border as a template to pierce my holes on the red panel! Quick and easy, clean and simple!

I have one more to show you tonight!!!

Now, I made this one for the new release of images by DRS and haven't shown it to you yet...it is similar to today's sketch but since it's not exact, in my mind, it doesn't qualify. However, I thought I would share it with you...

This cattail bridge is such a pretty image. I stamped it twice and cut out just the bridge, colored it and adhered it to the base with pop dots. I then colored the water and cattails of the original image. I seem to be on a kraft, red and black kick lately!!! The sentiment is a new release too. I stamped the leaf image from this butterfly 4 corner image in versamark ink on the kraft panel, as a background, to match the cattail leaves. Another new border punch was used on the chocolate layer and some copper brads finished things off! This would make a great masculine card.

Phew! That's all for me today...I'll be back tomorrow!
See you soon...
