Let's Compare...

Shall we?! As I sat in my craft room the other day gazing at my new Michaels Xmas stamps and wondering how and when I would use them, it occured to me that I had a whole bunch from last year...so I dug them out (literally!) and realized why I never really used them... This is a photo of last years Michaels $1 stamps...ho hum

and this is a photo of this years Michaels $1 stamps...Wowie!
What a difference! As you can see from the amount of stamps in my basket...I really like these images much better! I think I may have only inked one or two of the 2005 sentiments...! This years sentiments are much more versatile in font, size and wording. This years images are so much nicer (IMO) and should be alot more fun to ink up...when I have the time!!! As I say every year...I will start making next years cards in the summer so I have plenty of time to play! Of course, there is always something else to play with at other times of the year and then here we end up again...the holidays looming and nothing is done! I'm pretty sure I found all of the images that Michaels had for sale this year...let me know if I missed any! I think the clerks were beginning to wonder what was wrong with me as I kept pawing through the bin they stuffed these things in. You just never know what might be stuck in the bottom of the pile!!!
So, if you like them, run, don't walk, to your nearest Michaels and grab them before they're gone! (I just realized that one of the stamps is hidden...its a funky little Santa head...you can see a little snip of him next to the Santa hat stamp...sorry about that!)

I agree, Michael's dollar stamps are much better than last year's. Who would have thought that Michael's would be so trendy. Thanks for sharing your "stash". Happy Thanksgiving
