I hope everyone had a good day yesterday... I made this card as we were running out to make the long trek to Long Island yesterday to see dh's grandmother...this was for her...
I used the old SU! Turkey Talk set...the notecard is from the Target $1 spot - they came in a pack of 8, I think...
It's pretty simple but I think it's cute!
This is my last card from Wednesdays sketch challenge...sorry for the delay on this...I love this card and this set has so many possibilities. As soon as I saw it the Rudolph episode popped in my head!!
The set is from A Chemistry with Paper, Christmas Cheer. If you love good quality clear stamps (and who doesn't?!) be sure to check them out - they currently have 18 awesome sets for you to choose from!!! You're sure to find at least a few you love!!! Make sure you tell them I sent you!!!
I masked Rudolph behind the tree and colored my clear jewel with my red copic marker for his nose. The flake borders come in this set too...I couldn't resist adding jewels to them! If you make 6x6 scrapbook pages, the border stamps that come in these sets are perfect...it's on my to do list to dig out some winter photos to show you just how perfect they are!!
I'm on the run again...DH has a gig in NYC tonight - Greenwich Village. I wasn't going to go but decided why not at the last minute...it helps that my MIL/FIL offered to watch the girls for the night!! So, we're off....
I have so many things I want to work on and show you...bear with me as we plug along thru this busy season!! I want to say how thankful I am to everyone who visits me here!! I really appreciate it. I'm thankful too to be able to realize my dreams of designing and the opportunties that have come my way this year...A HUGE thanks right there!!!!
See you soon...
