the teacher gifts I've been promising for I don't remember how long!! We had such a busy weekend full of basketball that I am now trying to play catch up with just about everything...to top it all off, the girls had a delayed opening today because of ice! Now the ice is gone and it feels like Spring...crazy weather!!!
So...here they are...
Here is the whole ensemble - all the teachers got pretty much the same thing...only difference was either a santa or snowman ornament and the note pads had different covers...(click on photos for closer views)
I posted the gift "box" a couple of weeks ago...this is everything that fits inside the box! The tag is a GinaK stamp...
Here is a close up of the candle...
These are candles I found at the $1 spot in Target - apple flavored...not bad really!! Some of those dollar candles can be a little off in the scent department...
Anyway...I covered it with leftover box paper (Provo Craft) and used some sizzix holly leaves for the top...added a few buttons with glue dots for berries. Ribbon around the rim is from Walmart. I cut the burgundy circle with my Creative Memories circle cutter and the inner scallop with my giga scallop punch.
Here are close ups of the ornaments...the faces are rub ons and I made the felt hats myself from scratch!
They are enclosed in the clear zip locs in the hopes that they won't get scratched while they are packaged up...this was a fun project.
I had the girls "personalize" each ornament by writing their names/date on the back...
Well, the house is pretty much decorated, the tree is up and the teacher gifts are done...all I have to do now is write/send my Xmas cards...oh, and prepare to have almost 40 people at my house this Friday night for a basketball season kick off party that dh volunteered us for...thanks honey!!! Did I mention I have only one person on my Xmas list done...and she's only 18 months old and has no idea what Christmas is? (LOL) How are you doing with your preparations???
See you soon...
