Amy's Sketch...

Amyr posted another sketch this week and most if not all of the CC Designs design team members have made cards with it using the newly released Beautiful Butterflies set...be sure to check out the ATS blog to see all the other great cards...here is mine!

The patterned paper is by SEI - what a cute new line. I stamped the butterfly with Adirondack citrus ink - so bright!!! I added some jewels and a prima sprite to dress it up. I cut one of my bazzill silk flowers in half and inked up some white satin ribbon with my ink pad for some fluff behind the flower. I added a button for the flower center and some jewels on top of that. The sentiments are stamped in chocolate chip. The bluish panel is Bazzill. Oh, and the dotted background is a CC Designs stamp too...one of the big 'ol backgrounds! What a fun sketch!

A note about the citrus ink - this is the first time I have used ink by Adirondack/Ranger and I really like it! The pad I have is part of their Bright collection and it is bright! It inks up the stamp perfectly (raised felt pad) and evenly...no smears, no bleeding. I also inked up my white ribbon using this ink. The raised felt pad is perfect for this - all I did was hold the ribbon taut and rub it back and forth on the edge and it inked up nicely on the first rub. The pads stack too for easy storage. They are acid-free so you're set for scrapping with them too. I now have something new to add to my must have list!!!

That's it for now! I'm headed back to my studio...the girls are playing outside so I should take advantage of it...we'll see how productive I am!!!
Don't forget, only one more day to enter a comment for some blog candy...see post above!!
See you soon...
