for dh's grandmother! I made this card combining this weeks color and sketch challenges. I'm sending it to dh's grandmother who just moved into an assisted living facility and hates it...can't say I blame her! I'm hoping this will brighten her day at least a little.
Images by A Chemistry With Paper...
The flowers are from the set Stylized Flowers and the sentiment from Spiritual Sentiments...Stylized Flowers is such a pretty flower set with a bunch of flower and leaf images, a branch and two sentiments. Spiritual Sentiments has a ton of sentiments and other beautiful images perfect for a heartfelt greeting whether it be sympathy or just a card to let someone know you are thinking of them.
You can't tell but I did the reverse embossing with the embossing folder...inked up the folder with pretty in pink ink and then ran it through my sizzix...I machine stitched and tried my hand at "inchies"! It's true these little one inch squares are quite the canvas for giving large images new life. I'll have to try more!
That's it for today...off to make dinner and try to organize my embellishment drawers...I have eyelets and brads ( you would never know b/c I never seem to use them!!) and jewels (those I use!) everywhere and as usual the ones I am looking for at whatever point in time, are always in the last drawer I look in!!!!
Thanks for stopping by...and for your comments...what a way to brighten someones day!
See you soon...
